Starting oc4j_soa Fails with ORABPEL-09732 and getTransactionService Exceptions (Doc ID 1080505.1)

Symptoms

The following symptoms may occur:

    1. The default_group_oc4j_soa_default_group_1.log file has the following exception (and the BPEL Server banner is not displayed in the file):

10/04/01 17:44:42 Rmi Registry is started on port 3118
10/04/01 17:44:42 Confluent Monitor component started
10/04/01 17:44:45 Oracle Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.3.4.0) initialized

  1. The oc4j-soa container is not starting.
  2. The oc4j-soa container starts correctly and in the Enterprise Manager orabpel appears to be up, but there are exceptions in the BPEL console and in the BPEL Admin Console like the following:

    BPEL Console:

    BPEL Console after ask for a domain name the following error appeared:
    404 Not found:
    OracleJSP: An error occurred. Consult your application/system administrator for support.
    Programmers should consider setting the init-param debug_mode to "true" to see the
    complete exception message.
    BPEL Admin console showed:

    BPEL Admin Console:

    Oracle BPEL Process Manager Full Cycle.
    An unexpected error has occurred while executing your request. This is most likely related to a defect
       in the Oracle BPEL Process Manager product. We apologize you can post the error to the OTN forum and
       we will get back to you as soon as possible.

This error could be related with Default_QuartzScheduler_Worker-5 error messages

Changes

This situation appeared after being applied SOA 10.1.3.4 MLR 10, but this was not the real cause of the issue.
