Symptoms

Customer is running a Webservice on WLS 10.3 and on trying to invoke the Webservice using JDOM and Spring it fails with the below error:

com.sun.xml.ws.encoding.soap.DeserializationException: Failed to read a response: javax.
xml.bind.UnmarshalException - with linked exception:
[com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character '='
(code 61) (expected a name start character)
