Symptoms

While attempting to run an Oracle Forms application, the following security warning dialog box is presented:



Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern.
Block potentially unsafe components from being run?

This occurs when the application contains both signed and unsigned jar files. This may also occur when resources such as images are jarred and signed by a source other than the applet signature certificate.

It should also be noted that by clicking on the "Yes" button in the above warning dialog may result in blocking content such as custom images or java code from executing.

Changes

Client Java Runtime Environment (JRE) has been upgraded to JRE 6 Update 19 or newer.
