WCI Portal Does Not Properly Redirect To Requested Resource After SSO Login When The Requested Link Is In Friendly URL Format (Doc ID 1083073.1)

Symptoms

When a user follows a link to a community page or document that is in Friendly URL format, they are redirected to the default landing page of the experience definition instead of the expected resource.

This behavior will occur in the following two scenarios:

  1. Requesting a protected friendly URL link in a new browser window with NO active or expired portal session.
  2. Requesting a protected friendly URL link with an existing browser window where the portal session has expired (timed out).

Note: A 'protected' friendly URL link as referred to above means that portal login is required to access the link content.
