A custom connector is being built to integrate with a custom target system which has a poor database design:
- User table, has user ID & 5 boolean fields to indicate role membership
- Child table Role, indicates membership of additional roles
- Child table Person, in one-to-one mapping with User, has firstname, lastname, email, etc.
Attempting to replicate the same design in the OIM process form and child tables is causing difficulties - for instance, it is not straightforward to ensure the Person child table is populated using the tools OIM supplies out of the box (i.e. prepopulate adapters, access policies). What is the way forward?
