Symptoms
Some versions of Internet Explorer 7 has the "Native XMLHTTP Support" disabled by default which prevents any ADF based application to not display properly.
This problem is also observed in Internet Explorer 8 and 9.

Internet Explorer browser settings with "Native XMLHTTP Support"disabled.
