Tuxedo: CMDTUX_CAT:4679 Error Executing tmloadcf Requiring Re-encryption Of OPENINFO Strings Is Slow And Prone to Manual Mistakes
(Doc ID 1094054.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 18, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Tuxedo - Version 10.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When Tuxedo 10.0 tmloadcf is executed on a ubb configuration file this error is released:
In a Tuxedo ubb configurations with few OPENINFO strings the resolution is to modify the configuration file to include five stars in each OPENINFO string for the passphrase, rerun tmloadcf and enter the correct passphrase manually at each prompt.
When the configuration file contains a large number of OPENINFO strings this manual process is time intensive and error prone for system administrators.
Changes
A Tuxedo TUXCONFIG file exists from a successful previous execution of tmloadcf, but a Tuxedo administrator needs to make some non-OPENINFO modification on the ubb configuration file and generate an updated version of the TUXCONFIG binary.
