Symptoms
Attempting to create a new synchronization profile in a new install, using 11g FMW Control, fails with:
The profile doesn't save successfully either when using any of the following:
IP address of AD host instead of hostname
fully qualified credentials in AD format..eg... <USERNAME>@<DOMAIN>.com
oidcmprec shows no differences between the cn=users subtree on this system and on a good system
Three other systems installed with the same media function correctly
Changes
None were identified, however the syntax for attribute orclodipagentconfiginfo was not standard. It's not certain how this occurred.
