Oracle XMLfunctions Puts Linebreak after 2000 Characters in Spooled Output

When trying to use Spool command to get data from XML tables to a flat file, the maximum line length gets limited to 2000 characters. After 2000 characters, it puts the 'next line' character. In short, SQL*Plus truncates or splits XMLType columns after 2000 bytes.
