It Is Unclear How To Edit The EBS CUSTOM.pll Correctly. If Done Wrong, You Receive Compile Error "PL/SQL ERROR 103" (Doc ID 1101773.1)

Symptoms

Initially is is unclear how to edit the CUSTOM.pll. But after you try using the Tools and PL/SQL Editor option from the EBS Forms Builder top menu, and complete the required editing of the EBS CUSTOM.pll where you added the new lines and data as defined in the "E-Business Suite Adapter for ECM (Managed Attachments Solution) Installation and Configuration Guide" section "2.4.2 Compiling Forms", you get a Forms Builder compilation error similar to the following:

Compilation errors on CUSTOM:
PL/SQL ERROR 103 at line 4. column 5
Encountered the symbol "BEGIN" when expecting one of the following:

PL/SQL ERROR at line 7, column 5
Encountered the symbol "FUNCTION" when expecting one of the following:

and not pragma final instantiable order overriding static
member constructor map

Compilation errors on CUSTOM:
PL/SQL error 0 at line 0, column 0
Compilation unit analysis terminated

Failed to generate library.
