Goal
WebCenter Spaces default functionality allows you to search upon the whole Universal Content Management (UCM) repository.
From WebCenter PS1 (11.1.1.2.0) Bundle Patch 4, WebCenter PS2 (11.1.1.3.0) Bundled Patch 1 or WebCenter PS3 (11.1.1.4.0) onwards a flag has been introduced which restricts the search upon the documents which are being uploaded via the WebCenter Spaces into the UCM repository. This will only work on a crawl-enabled search, eg, with Oracle Enterprise Secure Search (Oracle SES) in the backend.
