Last updated on JANUARY 11, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Spaces gives "internal error" when a user is trying to sign in after Open LDAP integration.

The Spaces diagnostic log shows:

Signing into discussion forum or wiki with the same user declared in OpenLdap works fine.

Changes

The WebCenter instance has been configured to use an external LDAP server following the documentation below:

Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle WebCenter 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
