Collaboration Manager Throws "NoSuchMethodError" on Function getByIDAsString (Doc ID 1109534.1)

Symptoms

NoSuchMethod error occurs with Collaboration Manager when user goes to Browse Projects > Collaboration Projects, or to My Content Server > My Projects.

The following error is thrown:

Content Server Request Failed
Unable to retrieve the collaboration project list. Unable to execute service method 'buildCollectionsFromCollaborations'. (System Error: collections.CollectionStructure.getByIDAsString(Lcollections/CollectionAdminHandler;Ljava/lang/String;)Lcollections/CollectionStructure;)

Details:
The service stack for this request is --GET_COLLABORATION_LIST (**no captured values**) java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: collections.CollectionStructure.getByIDAsString
