How to Change the Encoding of the Payload on the JMS Adapter to a Value Other Than UTF-8 (Doc ID 1115575.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Platform - Version: 10.1.3.3.0 to 10.1.3.4.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is it possible to change the JMS Adapter encoding of the messages generated by BPEL or ESB or are these always encoded as UTF-8?  For example you want to use a JMS Adapter to en-queue/de-queue payload encoded as "ISO-8859-1".
