How to Change the Encoding of the Payload on the JMS Adapter to a Value Other Than UTF-8 (Doc ID 1115575.1)

Is it possible to change the JMS Adapter encoding of the messages generated by BPEL or ESB or are these always encoded as UTF-8?  For example you want to use a JMS Adapter to en-queue/de-queue payload encoded as "ISO-8859-1".
