The Defined System User for Worklist Tasks Does Not Appear in the "Updated By" Column of the Worklist Task History (Doc ID 1117635.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version: 10.1.3.5.0 and later   [Release: and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have configured a BPEL Worklist system user for the various existing realms, for example as follows in file $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/services/config/wf_config.xml:

<systemUserConfigurations>
<systemUser realmName="us" systemUserId="cdickens" />
<systemUser realmName="default" systemUserId="cdickens" />
<systemUser realmName="jazn.com" systemUserId="cdickens" />
</systemUserConfigurations>

The intention is to have system tasks, e.g. the expiration of a Worklist task, show up in the Worklist task history as being performed by this user in the "Updated By" column of the Worklist task history.  Instead the default user "bpeladmin" is seen as the system user.
