Symptoms
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10.1.4.3.0.
When running either an ldapbind or ldapsearch using the -w switch for the password, it does not return anything.
However when running ldapbind or ldapsearch using the -q switch, then it prompts for the password and allows proper authentication.
