Updating SSL Client Certificate Used By Service Key Provider Has No Effect For OSB (Doc ID 1123003.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Service Bus - Version 2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using OSB 10.3 After updating an SSL certificate the printed SSL debug shows it is still using the old certificate.

In the OSB console service provider shows the certificate is the new one (from the expiration date).  The problem is at runtime it appears the old certificate is still being used -shown in the SSL Debug as:

<Validating certificate 0 in the chain: Serial number: 00001
Issuer:C=X, CN=X,
Subject:CN=X (test), C=X, OU=X, O=X
Not Valid Before:Fri May 20 11:00:00 EDT 2010
Not Valid After:Sun Aug 20 11:00:00 EDT 2011

Changes

Updated the SSL Certificate in the keystore.
