Symptoms

Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Policy Manager Setup is failing when Policy Manager is configured to use ADSI for connection to Active Directory LDAP server.

During Setup, after being prompted to restart the Policy Manager web server and clicking Next the following error is displayed:

The following messages were produced by the product. Please contact your webmaster to fix the problem.

Unable to find configuration entry in the directory server at configuration base='ou=oblix,[CONFIG_BASE_DN]'.


The ou=oblix entry has been verified to exist under the Configuration Base DN in Active Directory.
