ODI Mapping / Integration Interface Loading Issues When Reading Multiple JMS Messages Having Header Records
(Doc ID 1129536.1)
Last updated on JUNE 16, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Data Integrator - Version 10.1.3.5.6 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When running an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Mapping (or Integration Interface) consuming multiple JMS Queue messages (by setting MESSAGEMAXNUMBER parameter of the LKM JMS to SQL to a value of 0 - zero) whose structure include a HEADER record, the execution crashes with error message at step Insert into flow table with following message:
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected
However, when running the ODI Mapping / Interface serially, consuming only one message at a time, then no problems occur and the records are propagated as expected to the target Datastore.
