Goal
This document will show the process of configuring Oracle Service Registry (OSR) 11g to authenticate against a LDAP server, in this case Microsoft Active Directory (AD).
This can be achieved either during the OSR installation process or by using the OSR Setup tool (after installing OSR). The steps provided in this document will show both.
It will be shown how to connect to an Active Directory with a single search base.
The version of OSR used in the document is 11.1.1. Also the version of WebLogic Server used is 11.1.1.3.
