Goal
In Oracle GlassFish Application Server 3.0.1, the Administration Console does not provide a way of specifying the table to use with Table Based Connection Validation. This article details how to workaround this problem.
As you can see, highlighted in the following image, from the JDBC Connection Pool Advanced Attributes Tab, there is a drop down list for choosing the table name:
However, the list is empty and there is no way of adding a table name from the administration web console. In previous versions of the Application Server the console used a text field to allow the table name to be specified.
