Goal

After Oracle Internet Directory (OID) has been running for some time the following error is seen in the $ORACLE_HOME/ldap/log/oidldapd01.log file (versions prior to 11g) or the ORACLE_INSTANCE/diagnostics/logs/OID/<oid_instance>/oidldapd01s<pid>-<n>.log (11g OID), and new connections to OID cannot be established:
