java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Can't load library Running Opatch from a FMW Home on a 64 bit Platform

HP-UX PA-RISC (64-bit)
HP-UX Itanium
Opatch onwards.
Fusion Middleware installed on a 64-Bit Platform using a 32/64-bit hybrid JDK (such as for the HP-PA, HPIA, and Solaris64 platforms)

Invoking the  'opatch' utility in a Fusion Middleware (FMW) environment fails with the following error:

$ ./opatch lsinventory
Invoking OPatch
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Can't load library: $<Oracle_binary_home>/oui/lib/hpia64/
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(
at java.lang.Runtime.load0(
at java.lang.System.load(
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no oraInstaller in java.library.path
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(
at java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(
at java.lang.System.loadLibrary(

OPatch failed with error code 1



The default Opatch Utility installed with FMW 11g (  was upgraded to the latest version ( or higher) .
