(Doc ID 1142254.1)

Applies to:Oracle WebCenter - Version: 126.96.36.199.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When we link an event to another in the Events Service in WebCenter Spaces, both the events will have the same event name/title after the linking and the linked event title is not retained.
a) Create two events viz event A and event B.
b) Click the event B hyperlink. The edit event screen is displayed.
c) Click the links icon and select existing event.
d) Link event A to event B.
e) The edit event screen is seen.
f) On the event home page, two events with title event B are seen.
g) Click on update.
It is required for the linked event (event A in example above) to not overwrite the event name when linking the event. Instead, it should have a format that specifies the link, for example:
event A (linked with event B)
This allow for better understandability of the linked items.
