Last updated on DECEMBER 01, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Business Process Analysis Suite - Version 11.1.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have installed BPA BP Repository on Linux and you are using Oracle 11g as the database repository
After a period of time without using BPA if you try to create a database you get the following error:

"Unable to create database. Please enter letters and/or numbers and do not use special characters."

You are not using special characters, the database name is TEST

Also you have noticed that if you try to open any of the existing databases, a pop up window opens asking for a username and password, it should not ask for that as you are using the default system/manager furthermore you are not able to login providing the right credentials.
