AXF Install Fails with Error "java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Got minus one from a read call" (Doc ID 1144010.1)

Upon execution of the AXF installer script, the AXF deployment fails and throws the following error into the installer.out:

C:\EBS_UCM_ADAPTER\AXF_EBS\install\install.xml:161: java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Got minus one from a read call

Note: Your error's line number may be different than "161" and your path to the install.xml may also differ.
