Symptoms

When attempting to search for some documents from the Search Box in the Top Navigation Bar, the following error occurs:

Results not currently available

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Search documents from the Search Box in the Top Navigation Bar.
The search might work for some searches of documents.
But in some cases searching for specific search patterns it will return "Results not currently available".

When it fails it always fails for the same search pattern even when there are documents that met the search criteria.

  2. When the error happens the WLS_Spaces-diagnostic.log shows this error:

[<TIMESTAMP>] [WLS_Spaces3] [WARNING] [WCS-07504] [oracle.webcenter.doclib.internal.search.query.LiveSearchJcrQueryExecutor] [tid: pool-1-daemon-thread-2] [userId: <USERID>] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: webcenter] [URI: /webcenter/faces/oracle/webcenter/page/scopedMD/s8bba98ff_4cbb_40b8_bae_296c916a23ed/businessRolePages/GroupSpaceDocLibMainView.jspx] There was an unknown content repository exception.[[
