Purpose

This document explains how to customize the WebCenter Document library view task flow to show an icon next to the file name that allows seeing the document in a new browser window or tab using the Dynamic Converter component installed in Oracle Content Server (UCM). This kind of customization can be applied to a custom WebCenter application or WebCenter Spaces. This paper describes the WebCenter Spaces customization.

Scope

Customizing the Document Services (doclist) Task Flow

This example shows how you can customize the Discussion services task flow to add a link in the document list viewer that allows a HTML rendering of the document in a new browser window or tab using the UCM dynamic converter component.

The following is a Document List View task flow showing the added icon used to render the document:
