The Glassfish Admin Console Doesn't Allow the User to Login even with a Valid User Name and Password (Doc ID 1148852.1)

Symptoms

The user may get the following error when the user tries to log on to the Admin Console
or try to use the Administration command line (asadmin) even though the user name  and password is correctly entered.

Admin Console:


Using asadmin:

# asadmin list --passwordfile pass.txt--user admin --terse=false
Invalid user or password
CLI137 Command list failed.


In addition, the following will be seen in the server.log
