OID Password Filter in AD Fails. Log Shows: Password Update Failed. No record to update | Search did not reterive any data (Doc ID 1149948.1)

Symptoms

Issue 1

Oracle Password Filter (OPF) for Active Directory (AD) does not work for user create events. It works only when a password reset happens.

The password filter log shows the following entries:

OID Base DN is ---->
cn=<USERNAME>,cn=users,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com
About to retrive connection
Got the Connection
Inside Add Parent
About to add node
Node Added
retval is NOT success
Out of Add Parent
Domain String -->
<DOMAIN>.com
User Domain String -->

<USERNAME>@<DOMAIN>.com
Inside OID Search User sgslodac
About to fire the search request

TEST BASE -->
cn=<USERNAME>,cn=users,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com

Password Update Failed. No record to update
Search did not reterive any data

Issue 2

Oracle Password Filter does not synchronize passwords.

Password Filter Main log shows "Password Update Failed" error.
