The Stack Trace of an Exception is Missing (Doc ID 1151839.1)

Symptoms

You will see exceptions printed in the logs, but there is no stack trace available. For example, see the following log entries:

<D>, "Jul 1, 2010 12:20:36 PM", Engine, Main, <62> ET(76), "Instance '/CustomFulfillment#Default-1.4/1363271/28' unlocked."

In these log messages we see that the exception java.lang.NullPointerException is printed without a stack trace.
