Convert Pld Back To Pll Corrupts Pll In Some Cases (Doc ID 1153083.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Forms - Version: 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.3.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Converting .pll to .pld works fine. Converting .pld to .pll with frmcmp gives

FRM-10075: Unable to build a PL/SQL library from a script file.
PDE-IKP002: Ignored extra command keywords: NOCOMPILE.

From frmplsqlconv, get the message "Forms Compiler failed to convert the pll file from the migrated pld"

From Forms Builder, get message "PDE-PER001 Internal Error (CAKAA 2)."

The converted pll different to the pll before converting. The last end; of
the package body deleted.

This happens, if you have in the pll a package with 2 procedures and one
procedure has an if.
