ADSI Users Can Open a Contribution Folder from the Content Server User Interface (Doc ID 1155754.1)

Last updated on JUNE 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Content Server 10.1.3.5.0, with Folders_g and Webdav enabled, Find that external users can log into the content server, click on browse content -> contribution folders -> click on a folder, and then drag and drop content into the folder successfully. When the external users click on MyNetworkPlace -> WebDav connection to the Content Server -> Contribution Folders -> and then click on a folder, a login screen pops up. When users type in their username and Password they get no response. If users type in sysadmin and password the web folder opens up.

It is expected that if a user can log into the content server and open a contribution folder using their own username and password, that they should be able to open the same contribution using their own username and password when coming from MyNetworkPlaces as well.
