Is there any performance impact when instance expiration is increased ?

1) Currently the "Instance Expiration" in the Processes Admin is set to 15 days. If we were to set this to 1 month, would there be any performance impact. If so, how much is the impact?

2) Would it impact the Workspace loading (slower loading) or the instance cache at the client end?

3) What would be the impact when the PAPI cache is OPEN and the workspace is querying for both the in-flight instances and the completed/aborted instances at the same time?

4) If archiving were to be activated, is it possible to search the archive database from the workspace?
