Remote Intradoc Client (RIDC) Connection Pool Fails When Content Server is Restarted with Exception at BlockingQueueConnectionPool (Doc ID 1166215.1)

Symptoms

Using RIDC API, when the content server is restarted, the RIDC connections start failing. The following error is seen:

oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.ProtocolException: Unable to obtain connection from pool after waiting 30 seconds
at oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.impl.BlockingQueueConnectionPool.acquireConnection(BlockingQueueConnectionPool.java:56)
at oracle.stellent.ridc.IdcClient.sendRequest(IdcClient.java:130)

Restarting Weblogic Server resolves the issue.
