The OC4J Instance Will Not Start After Disk Space Issue (Doc ID 1167443.1)

Symptoms


Unable to start OC4J after disk space issue. When starting OC4J using OPMN or the command,

java -jar oc4j.jar

the error logged is similar to this,

10/08/03 13:33:22 Error initializing server:<ORACLE_HOME>/j2ee/home/config/server.xml, Fatal error at line 1 offset 1 in file:/<ORACLE_HOME>/j2ee/home/config/server.xml: .
<Line 1, Column 1>: XML-20108: (Fatal Error) Start of root element expected.
