Unique constraint violated error when the user tries to assign an instance to himself (Doc ID 1173465.1)

Symptoms

The following error message is received when the user tries to assign the instance which was earlier assigned to another participant who has already been deleted.


An error occurred while accesing the database.
Detail:SQL statement: 'INSERT INTO PROCINSTITEM ( PROCESSID, INSTID, THREADID, INSTITEMID, PARTICIPANT, STATE, RETRYCOUNTER, LASTEXECUTIONPART, LASTEXECUTIONTIME ) VALUES ...'
Caused by: [BEA][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-00001: unique constraint (ENGINE504SA.SYS_C0079099) violated



Changes

The participant associated with that instance was deleted from Process Administrator.
