Applies to:
Oracle Tuxedo - Version 8.1 to 10.3.0Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Within a Tuxedo /Domain configuration when an applicative Tuxedo service is available locally, and through the Gateway on a remote Domain, an infinite loop may occur.
To avoid the infinite loop a user will set TM_GWT_REQ_MAXHOPS in the GWTDOMAIN runtime environment.
When the number of message loops/maxhops between domains is reached the message will be dropped and the client will get a TPESYSTEM error.
At the time the message gets dropped an error message like the following will be printed in the ULOG:
Can we get more explanation on why retries maximum number (Error = 402019 stands for this maximum value was reached)?
