Goal

The steps to create a Java Stored Procedure in JDeveloper 11g although similar to JDeveloper 10g have slightly changed. Here is how to do this when deploying to a 11g R2 database. A couple of things you need to be aware of on the 11g RDBMS side.

In this demo we are using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3 and an Oracle 11g 11.2.0.1 RDBMS.
The JVM in a Oracle 11g database is version 1.5 which means we must compile/create our class in either JDK 1.4 or JDK 1.5
