Import Server Email Provider Fails to Import Emails With "winmail.dat" Attachment (Doc ID 1181515.1)

Symptoms

Import Server Email provider is not able to import emails and sees a "winmail.dat" file attachement, which is not an actual attachment to the email.  Some of the logging is as follows:

08/18/10 09:15:09 5131 *** Processing Email [1] ***
08/18/10 09:15:09 1108 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
08/18/10 09:15:09 1105 Start processing batch <test.testing@oracle.com>Wed, 18 Aug 2010 09:11:38 -0400.
08/18/10 09:15:09 1106 Importing Email Provider batch <TESTING@TEST.com>Wed, 18 Aug 2010 09:11:38 -0400 into batch PAP0818103330939.
08/18/10 09:15:09 5116 Processing attachment #1 [winmail.dat].
08/18/10 09:15:09 5124 Attachment [winmail.dat] was skipped because the file name does not match one of the following masks: *.Pdf
08/18/10 09:15:09 1116 No pages were added to the new batch. This batch will be removed.
08/18/10 09:15:09 1310 ***Error*** Error occurred during batch importing, import item <TESTING@TEST.com>Wed, 18 Aug 2010 09:11:38 -0400 did not import. Provider: Email Provider Job: Paperless
