The purpose of this note is to document how to differentiate whether an observed application hang comes from "bad" application design or from JRockit Virtual Machine at the native level, that is outside of the control of the application algorithm.


The intended audiences of this document are the production people, using the ORACLE JRockit JVM, and experiencing specifically the case of production applications hanging.
The detailed instructions are demonstrated.
