Getting Started with Oracle WebLogic Server: Installing Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.3 (Doc ID 1196003.1)

Last updated on MAY 18, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.3 to 10.3.3
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This article walks through an installation of WebLogic Server 10.3.3 (a component of Fusion Middleware 11g R1 PS2). The installation process is documented in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle WebLogic Server 11g Release 1 (10.3.3). This article describes a simplified step-by-step installation, and is not intended to replace the documentation.

This installation is on a Linux x86 32-bit system, but installation on another O/S should be similar, though the screens would look somewhat different. The installation here uses the graphical (GUI) installer. The console and silent installers are not covered here, but are covered in the documentation.

This installation uses the binary full installer, not the generic installer. If you need to use the generic installer instead, please see How To Choose The Correct WebLogic Server (WLS) Installer <Note 1058925.1> for additional information.
