Can You Use Image Alchemy to Create Image Renditions Without Processing Content Through Content Server and Inbound Refinery? (Doc ID 1204803.1)

Goal

Prior to Oracle acquiring Stellent, ImageAlchemy was bundle in the ImageManager component which then could be configured within the Stellent IBR. This would apply to IBR versions, 5.x, 6.x, and up to 7.5.1.

Since being acquired, Oracle IBR versions 7.5.2, 7.6, 10g, and 11g no longer bundle the ImageAlchemy. It has to be purchased outside of Oracle.

Can the ImageAlchemy from these prior IBR versions be used to create image renditions without processing content through Webcenter Content server and Inbound Refinery (e.g. running it via commandline for non-WCC applications)?
