Error Deploying Two Projects With Common External Variables (Doc ID 1206944.1)

Symptoms

The following exception is thrown when running instances of a recently deployed project. Some external variables already existed in the Directory, because they were created for another project.

An unexpected error occurred while creating an instance. Details: java.lang.Boolean java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.Boolean
