Symptoms

The editor for a community fails to open after changes were recently made and saved to the database. The error on the screen is:

Error - This page does not exist or the current user does not have access to it


A PTSpy taken while generating the problem behavior will show the following warning message:

8348 portal.server.user 9-8-2010 17:23:53.578 Warning Core Thread-0 com.plumtree.server.impl.core.PTBaseObjectManager Error in function PTBaseObjectManager.Open (nObjectID == 418, bLockInitially == false): The root element is missing.
