Symptoms
Using SQL*Plus 11.1.0.7, you are trying to display a warning banner by setting SEC_USER_AUDIT_ACTION_BANNER and SEC_USER_UNAUTHORIZED_ACCESS_BANNER parameters in sqlnet.ora to point to text files with the desired banners.
The problem is that when making the connection, the banner text gets truncated.
For example, when attempting to use the following sample banner message:
