Last updated on APRIL 30, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3 to 10.3.2
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After webservice is upgraded from WebLogic (WLS) 8.1 to 10.3, it is observed that the "nillable" and "minOccurs" attributes of complex types in WSDL elements are changed.  In particular,

  1. After the upgrade, all complex elements are tagged with nillable="true".  Prior to the upgrade, there is no explicit definition of nillable.
  2. Also, minOccurs for all of the complex elements is set to 1.  Prior to the upgrade, this is all set to 0.
