This article covers the basic steps needed to install and configure a base Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) 11g server.

Scope

This Tech Note is aimed at OIM installers, but does NOT cover more complex install scenarios like High Availability or integration with OAM or other products, just a plain simple OIM install. Basic familiarity with the various concepts and technologies is required here, such as WebLogic App Server, database, Java JDKs, OIM. This note is best used along side the official install documentation and can help guide you through the install basics.
