Symptoms

Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (FMW 11g)  installation on Windows.

Performed the following steps to install and configure FMW 11 (For example, when installing 11.1.1.3.0)

  1. Install Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) 10.3.2.
  2. Install FMW 11g Portal, Forms, Reports, and Discoverer 11.1.1.2.0 (software only).
  3. Patched WLS to 10.3.3.
  4. Patched FMW 11g Portal, Forms, Reports, and Discoverer to 11.1.1.3.0.

The Configuration Assistant (ORACLE_HOME/bin/config.bat) fails with the following exception in the install<timestamp>.out
