How To Avoid Saturation of AS400 (iSeries) CPU with the ODI QZDASOINIT Process (Doc ID 1226827.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 10.1.3.5.6 to 11.1.1.9.99
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When running Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) integration operations on AS400 (iSeries) servers, we have observed that the CPU of the server saturates at 100%.

More specifically, we notice in the AS400 console the presence of a number of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) related jobs called QZDASOINIT, the sum total of their CPU usage amounting to 95%.

Is there any tuning recommendations for these processes?
